Perseverance,

resolve,

determination,

resolution.

These are just words, but strong words. Words that have clear vision in which one can build a life.

These words come to my mind as I contemplate the last few weeks. Weeks of convalescence, of sleep-no sleep, of riding shotgun in the car (you can ask Kathy about my backseat driving) and most prevalent of all just plain endurance. They are words that are persistently evading my mind while I actively wrestle with my brand new right knee. A brand new knee that makes a habit of reminding me of it’s presence and always wants to be accounted for at any given moment in time. It is always relentlessly keeping my attention both day and night. Insomnia, another strong word, that can evade ones life when least wanted. Joke: Waiter to Customer “would you like cheese with that whine?” Next knee in two weeks Yipeee!

Global Warming

I heard last night that 49 states have snow on the ground. Florida being the only state without snow (Kathy is ready to go). The scientists say this extra moisture is due to global warming. Isn't snow cold? I am confused
